The King Street project consists of alterations and additions to a heritage listed building located within the Sydney CBD. The project involves extension of existing floor plates via infilling of two existing lightwells within the heritage listed ‘Charles Plaza’ building. The redevelopment works include a complete Building Code of Australia upgrade, building services overhaul, lift replacement & extensions, façade stonework rectification & glazed window replacement, substantial heritage reinstatement works and the internal refurbishment and fit-out for retail, food & beverage and commercial tenancies. The infilling of existing lightwells increases the buildings Floor Space Area (FSA) to 8,030m².
